When thinking of Olivia Palermo many things spring to mind. Elegance, class and sophistication. And her new makeup collaboration with Ciate London is no exception.
When purchasing these products I had no idea what was in store for me. I’ve never owned any Ciate London makeup products only they’re extensive range of nail polishes. But oh how I wished I bought these products sooner! First of all the packaging alone was enough to make me buy, so beautiful and luxurious. The black and gold design just looks so chic and classy and just screams Olivia.
Olivia Palermo x Ciaté London The Cheekbone Cheat Blusher Bronzer Duo – Bluff Point
My favourite item of all of the collection has got to be the bronzer/blush duo! The bronzer is the perfect contour shade to achieve Olivia Palermo’s killer cheekbones. The duo comes in two colours, Bluff point which is more cool toned and seaside park which is more warm toned. Its smooth, blendable and so so pigmented. It looks so natural when applied and leaves a beautiful sun kissed glow to the skin.
The blush is equally as beautiful. It’s a very pretty pink and adds a gorgeous pop of colour to the cheeks. It’s extremely lightweight and feels silky on the skin. Together with the bronzer they create a lovely sculpted glow. Also the duo is so easy to carry in your bag for top ups during the day and is also very travel friendly.
Absolutely obsessed with this product and will definitely be purchasing more products from this brand. The blush/bronzer is available from Superdrug.com and is retailed at £25.
Ciaté London x Olivia Palermo Satin Kiss Lipstick – Truffle
I also love this lipstick in Olivia’s collection. The shade truffle is such a classic nude colour that can be worn for any occasion. It has the most amazing colour pay off and feels so creamy and soft on the lips. The formula stays on for such a long time and does not dry my lips out or cling to dry patches. This is one of my favourite lipsticks I have ever bought and I pray that the collection will not disappear anytime soon. These lipsticks come in at £19 and can be bought on Feelunique.com.
Ciaté London Olivia Palermo x Ciaté London Nail Collection – Sundays – my off duty nude
Nail polish has never really been my thing. I find it hard to find a colour that I am happy with on my nails and really struggle on not picking of the coats. However, I fell in love with this nail polish. I absolutely love the soft pink colour, laid back colour and I love how pretty it looks on the nails. This colour is amazing if you are like me and do not feel brave enough to go for bolder colours such as red. I typically put on two coats and they lasted for over a week with no chippings whatsoever. It goes on very smoothly and stays super glossy. However at £17 a pop they are very expensive for a nail polish and there are many other nail polish brands such as Essie which work equally as well.
Overall all products are excellent. I would especially recommend the Blush/Bronzer duo and the lipstick more than the nail polish as I personally believe they are better value for money. Currently on Feelunique, Olivia’s products are 3 for 2, a great deal for trying out a range of these products.
