It seems like yesterday I was writing my August favourites declaring my top end of summer products. And now it’s somehow October and I’ve accumulated a completely new bunch of favourites.
Choosing my favourite products for September was super easy. I’ve discovered so many exciting finds this month and I just couldn’t wait to share them all with you.
Loreal True Match Concealer
I’ve accumulated an abundance of concealers recently so I put every other one aside to allow me to try the Loreal True Match Concealer. And after a week of bad skin days, this little product has been a lifesaver. Spots, under eye circles and other imperfections are instantly covered by this little product. The shade range is amazing even for pale skin and unlike many other brands it does not oxidise once applied. It’s definitely one of my new holy grails.
I’ve wrote about numerous illuminators on my blog and no other product compares to the Clarins Instant Light Radiance Boosting Complexion Base. Dull skin days are quickly resolved with a few pumps of this product. I use the shade 01 Rose which instantly adds a subtle, pinkish glow to the face. I know that this product will be amazing for those dreary winter days when your skin just needs a bit of pampering.
Nars Tinted Moisturiser
I’m a sucker for anything glowy. So when I was recommended the Nars Tinted Radiant Moisturiser, I knew it was going to be perfect for me. Upon trying the product I assumed the formula was going to have minimal coverage. However, the tinted moisturiser instantly neutralises and covers any redness or imperfections with little product used. The finish of the product is very glowy and full coverage yet still looks completely natural. It’s super quick and easy to apply making it the perfect product for those early mornings.
Mac Blush Baby
Another product that I’ve been loving this month is the Mac blush in the shade ‘Blush Baby’. It’s a beautiful mixture of pink and brown which is perfect for adding a natural flush to the cheeks. Although the product is completely matte, I would tend to use this blush for the evening as for everyday I usually opt for a glower/ rosier product.
I talked about this blush on my first ever blog post (almost a year ago) and haven’t mentioned it since. Due to my blush addiction I completely forgot about this product and only last week did I find it hiding in the back of my drawer. And I’m so happy to rediscover this cult beauty favourite. It’s the perfect peachy pink for adding that beautiful radiance to the face. It’s extremely pigmented meaning the blush lasts forever- I’ve had mine for nearly a year and a half and the top has not even dented.
Loreal Jlo’s Nude
Loreal definitely know how to make a good lipstick. Their shade range, hydrating formulas and longevity are always spot on. Jlo’s nude from Loreal has been a longtime favourite in my makeup collection and will continue to be for many years to come. It’s the perfect nude that is suitable from day to night. It’s extremely creamy and moisturising which will be immensely helpful for those cracked winter lips.
Sleek Lip Liner
I can’t say I’m much of a lipliner kind of gal. But this one by sleek has definitely converted me. It glides on like a dream and the colour is the most perfect nude you can imagine. At £5.49 it’s an absolute steal.
I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know in the comments below what your September favourites were! I’d love to give them a go.
Love, Katie X
