MY (RUSHED) MORNING SKINCARE ROUTINE

Earlier this week, I shared with you all ‘My Five Minute Makeup Routine’. But one thing I forgot to mention was the skincare I always do beforehand. Including skincare definitely adds a significant amount of time on to your morning routine but the benefits of it are completely worth it.

Bioderma Sensibo Micellar Water

The first thing I always do when I wake up is cleanse my face. The amount of oil and sweat you produce when sleeping quickly accumulates and can cause breakouts and even acne if you continue to not wash your face before applying other beauty products on top. I always use Bioderma’s H20 sensibo micellar water as it’s super quick, extremely delicate and really effective at removing any impurities. The product removes any leftover makeup like a magnet leaving the face feeling instantly refreshed and rejuvenated.

Botanics Toner Spray

This spray toner by Botanics is the perfect thing for early mornings. The spray means it’s super quick to apply and it instantly leaves the skin feeling hydrated and refreshed. The product contains rose water which nourishes the skin and leaves the skin ready to receive moisturiser.

Botanics Eye Roller

I received this product in the post last week and I’m already completely obsessed. Early morning have meant baggy eyes which have quickly been solved by this little product. It’s extremely cooling under the eyes and so quick to use. You can visibly see the product reduce and de-puff bags under the eyes making the eyes appear brighter and tighter.

Clinique Moisturiser

If your looking for a perfect moisturiser for Winter then Clinique could be the brand for you. It absorbs extremely quickly meaning its perfect for applying makeup on top of it. It’s a cult favourite with so many people and its clear to see why. It leaves the skin feeling soft, hydrated and in no way greasy. Many other moisturisers I’ve tried have left my skin feeling extremely irritated and red but this one by Clinique is the complete opposite and quickly soothes and relaxes my skin. I would thoroughly recommend adding this one to your Christmas list.

EOS Lip Balm

I’m not gonna lie, I initially bought this lip balm due to its pretty packaging. But it is actually amazing for quickly curing dry lips. I, of course bought mine in the pomegranate scent which smells absolutely amazing. Sometimes I skip out on lipstick all together and just wear this on its own as it adds such a lovely sheen to the lips.

I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know in the comments below what your morning skincare products are.

Love, Katie X
